Grad Session
Florida A&M University Campus
Back on FAMU’s beautiful campus once again! Helping out a fellow business owner allowed us to meet Shamiya, a graduating communications major with a big personality and a beautiful smile! Camera in hand, we arrived to campus ready to capture some great shots for this lovely graduate.
Shamiya wanted to begin near the iconic FAMU shrubs lining the entrance to the campus. I grabbed a few shots, adjusting for light while Shamiya had a blast just trying out a few poses. The sun was just rising behind the campus and gave a gorgeous glow, warmly complementing the shots. Shamiya had such an engaging personality, talking about her post-graduation plans in communications and journalism. We wrapped up this location after getting some really fun shots, and headed over to her major’s building for some personalized shots.
Wanting to pursue a career in visual communication, Shamiya thought it’d be neat to get a few shots with her recording equipment. We let the expert set her tools up while we took a few candids.
Shamiya’s dress looked great with her skin, and these creative shots were full of warm light and bright colors!
A change of location brought us to the studio portion of our shoot, where Shamiya would change into more looks and take and some glamorous shots!
We took a quick moment to grab a few shots of Shamiya in the studio before her first outfit change, loving the way the shades in her dress matched the decor.
Next up, Shamiya changed in to a gorgeous red dress and fur stole, and took some beautiful shots on the white chaise that turned out really elegant and sophisticated. Shamiya had one last outfit to dazzle with and changed into this stunning black dress, interwoven with shimmering golden material. That dress was the perfect piece to wrap up the shoot, and we got several great shots of Shamiya looking absolutely regal!
Shooting with Shamiya was definitely a blast, we’re so glad our professional connections had us cross paths. Shamiya loved our work, and was so impressed with the shots, she also purchased announcement designs from us. We really are happy when our clients are happy, and this session wrapped quite joyfully!
