Maternity Session
Savannah, GA
Spring is right around the corner, and with it comes rebirth. Or, in this case new birth! Some familiar Shebee family are back once again, and this time with one more on board! Ebony would like to get some family shots to commemorate the new little bundle of joy joining the family, and get some shots of TJ as he’s growing up. We’re so excited for the new little one, and we always love shooting with TJ, so we want to make this shoot extra special! Sherona has some cool ideas to add a special Shebee touch, so let’s make some magic! 🪄
First up, we grabbed some shots of our favorite little man, TJ! 🤗 Our mommy-to-be needed some time to finish getting ready, so we had a good time with TJ, snapping along as he posed himself. He was excited to tell us about his adventures in school and his accomplishments playing sports. The hunter green pants and denim collared shirt helped handsome TJ look like a big boy, and Sherona could barely get over the fact of how much he’d grown up! Next, we got big Travis into the shots and snapped a few with the two of them posing together. It was a nice father-son moment that we captured to be remembered when the newest little one joins the family.
Shortly after, our mom-to-be was finally ready to get in front of the camera, so Sherona started arranging the 3 of them and I worked on getting some great shots!
Ebony’s first outfit was a dark green dress which coordinated well with the guys. We grabbed a few shots with Ebony by herself, then got the whole family in frame. Sherona first chose a few poses with Ebony sitting, to make sure we kept mom-to-be as comfortable as possible. TJ was really excited to be in front of the camera and kept us all laughing with his antics!😄 We then turned TJ into our light assistant in order to get a few shots of mom and dad alone. Some lovely moments captured later, and On to outfit #2!✌🏾
Cream was the uniting color with these outfits, and Ebony wore a light and airy tulle dress. This time, we got many beautiful shots of this little growing family as they interacted with each other, trying to decide how they wanted to pose. We all had a good laugh at a mishap that had occurred with Ebony’s dress, involving TJ and an errant pair of scissors, and finished off this wonderful session on a high. Sherona and I reviewed the photos in preparation for editing and were beyond excited to present these to Ebony to welcome in the new baby. Sherona even added a special edit to memorialize the naming of the little one.
She modeled the edit after magazines with mom and baby’s namesake. Check out Sherona’s creative thinking in action…👀
