This winter morning dawned warm and bright in Miami, Fl with our graduate to be, Natalee.

Yes, that’s right, travel grad! Natalee had seen our work online and had decided that she wanted to have us capture the memories for her big day, and we LOVE to travel! We met up with Natalee on the campus of the University of Miami for a unique grad experience. Natalee was a bubbly Miami native, in a beautiful bright dress with a matching personality!

Natalee was very much at ease in front of the camera, so we just setup and started shootin’! We started in front of a large ornamental “U” we stumbled upon not far from meeting, and UM’s beautiful canvas just provided locale after locale from there. Ausbee and I both thought Natalee’s unique hat decoration looked super cute, so we made sure to get some great shots of it.

We journeyed further into the campus to find a beautiful lake surrounded by the artfully designed buildings of the campus. Natalee brought along some of our favorite special effects props, and we were more than happy to use them! Miami has no idea what winter is, so though we were far into it, the warm sun shone brightly on the scene, making for some amazingly rich photos.

An interesting architectural addition to a building provided another smoke bomb opportunity. This time we decided to try the green one, with great success! The rich green looked great with the stark white background and the brightness of Natalee’s dress.

We took a moment to let Natalee’s fun personality shine through on the simpleness of the background. She quickly gave us a few great shots, posing with ease. It’s always great when our clients can pose without direction, and Natalee did it so well!

An outfit change and relocation to a beautiful fountain at the center of campus brought us near the end of this fun shoot. Natalee came prepared with many ideas to try, and the next prop on her list was confetti. Of course we delivered past expectations! I’d love to say that we could take all the credit for the beautiful outcome, but Natalee’s great relationship with the camera had been more than apparent all day. We had such a time editing!

For our final photo sequence, we got Natalee to hop right into the cool clear water. All day she was suggesting so many interesting and creative ideas for shots, so we both knew she would be game. Add in one of my custom-made session props and we got the beautiful shots below! Upon request i’d decorated Natalee’s bottle of champagne in simple school colors and logo. It was the perfect addition to wrap up a wonderful session. Congrats on your graduation Natalee, we SO enjoyed shooting with you!
